Grey Central Echo Legion representatives present awards On Thursday, Legion members Jo- Ann McDonald and Sandra Josling stopped by Grey Central Public School to recognize the artistic and literary contributions of Grey's Grade 6, 7 and 8 students to the Legion's poster, poetry and essay contests. After the presentation of student awards, Mrs. McDowell was proud to accept Grey's poppy appreciation award, which was awarded to Grey to recognize the participation of our students in the many Remembrance activities. Special thanks to the judges who must have had a hard time choosing winners from all of the great entries. Again, thanks to the Legion for sponsoring meaningful learning activities. Everyone got their report cards on Monday. Interviews were held on Thursday evening and Friday. Upcoming Christmas activities at Grey include the Christmas concert on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m., our Christmas dinner on Dec. 19 and skating at the arena on Dec. 21.
