PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Road Name Changes
Section 210 (111) of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Huron East intends to
pass a by-law to rename public roads which were previously named and due to 9-1-1 regulations the
Council have deemed it necessary. to change the names of certain streets/roads in their respective
municipalities.
The public road naming changes will facilitate the County-wide Municipal Addressing System which is
required for the 9-1-1 Emergency Response System.
The following are the roads/streets affected by the change:
Additional information relating to the proposed renaming of public roads is available for inspection at
the Municipal Office, 72 Main Street South, Seaforth.
Any person may appear before Council at a public meeting on Tuesday, January 8th, 2002 at
7:00 p.m. at which time the proposed public road naming changes will be discussed.

Bulletts win baeli-to-baek
The Brussels Bulletts faced South
Huron Midgets in Brussels, Nov. 27.
South Huron took the early lead
scoring late in the opening period.
That held up until Michelle Cook
took a pass from Michelle Nixon in
the slot and fired a high wrist shot
past the South Huron netminder in
the second to tie it.
South Huron came battling back to
go up once more in the final frame.
That was it as South Huron defeated
Brussels 2-1.
The Bulletts same out firing on all
cylinders the following night in a
exhibition game with Kincardine
Midgets. Brittany Campbell got
things started with a slapshot in the
Kincardine cage set up by Jenn Hopf
and Cook in the first period.
Brussels increased the lead to two
when Ashley Ritchie blasted a wrist
shot, assisted by Campbell in the
second. Kincardine tied it up sec-
onds later.
In the third period the Bulletts
added the insurance marker when
Ritchie scored her second of the
night from Cook and Campbell.
The outstanding goaltending from

played six games this weekend and
won five of them.
They played Thursday night in
Wingham and won 8-2. Scoring for
Brussels were Adam McClure with
two, Matt McClinchey with two,
Steven Ropp, Chris Corbett, Brad
McKague and Christopher Jutzi.
Friday night Brussels played
Zurich and won 7-0. Scoring for
Brussels were Corbett with three,
Kincardine team from causing any
further damage. The Bulletts skated
away with a 3-1 victory.
On Saturday, Dec. 1 the Bulletts
travelled to Exeter fof the rematch
with the South Huron Midgets. Both
teams battled through a scoreless
first period.
South Huron popped into the lead
scoring, in the second. The Bulletts
applied a lot of pressure but failed to
score and entered the third period
down by one. Brussels finally found
the back of the net when Kerri Meier
snapped a shot in assisted by
Rebecca Burton.
Cook added to the lead walking in
on a breakaway and beating the
south Huron goalie on a nice deke to
the backhand assisted by Rachel
Elliott. Ritchie added the insurance
goal scoring on a wrist shot from 15
feet out with seconds to go set up by
Campbell.
Berfelz continued her strong play
in the Bullett cage frustrating the
South Huron shooters on numerous
occasions.
Brussels recorded their second win
in as many nights defeating South
Huron 3-1.
McKague with two, Adam Corbett
and Matt White.
Saturday the team went to a tour-
nament in Lucknow and played
Hensall and Howick winning 4-1
and 2-0. In the final game they were
tied with Ripley after a five minute
sudden death overtime which sent
them into shootouts. They were still
tied after the first round of shootouts
but lost in the second set of three
shooters.
