their baby boy.

of leaf tickets in the You Pick the
Pickup! There are still tickets avail-
able.
Greeting at Blyth United Church
on Sunday were Brenda McDonald
and Nicole Kerr. Ushering were
Joanne MacDonald, Les Caldwell
and Pat Brigham.
Blyth United Church welcomed
back as guest speaker Melissa
Whitmore, and Lynda Lentz-
McGregor was guest church musi-
cian. Melissa's message to the chil-
dren was "always have good man-
ners and remember to say please and
thank you". Her message to the
adults was to make Gratitude Your
Attitude and remember to be thank-
ful and say thank you to God for all
the things he has provided for each
and every day.
Sympathy is extended from the
community to Betty Elliott and fam-
ily on the death of a husband, father,
grandfather, great-grandfather,
brother and brother-in-law, Gordon.
We also extend our sympathy to
Lawrence and Jean Plaetzer on the
death of a sister and sister-in-law.
There are still 125th cash calendars
available at many stores throughout
the village. They would make good
Christmas gifts as there are so many
old pictures of places and buildings
in our village of the bygone years.
Blyth Public School council is
making a presentation to the Avon
Maitland District School Board on
Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. at
Central Huron Secondary School
about school closures. Anyone inter-
ested in attending is welcome. If you
need a ride please call Michelle
Richmond 523-9751. Thank you for
your support.
