Last year's parade, revived after a
lengthy absence featured 46 floats
and marching bands, and was
watched by hundreds of spectators.
Co-ordinator Fran Cook said the
committee is hoping for even more
participation at this event.
The night will once again include
a family free skate and the chili-
cook-off. Organizer Melissa Hanna
said this year the cookoff will be
held in front of Memorial Hall at
5:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to
enter.
Tickets to sample all the entries
cost $2 and can be purchased that
night.
"Those who come to test the vari-
eties of chili get to vote on the one
they like best," said Hanna. The
money raised goes to the business
assocation.
