Sign up for talent show
A wonderful tradition of meeting pageant was begun in 1992 when
Peter Smith, then Artistic Director
the Blyth Festival, recognized the
importance of bringing people
together to celebrate community.
The Village Christmas was born
and over the years there have been
fine performances from many friends
and neighbours. Musical appear-
ances, dramatic debuts and thrilling
dance numbers have provided oppor-
tunities to reflect, rejoice and enjoy
the season. The committee is looking
for singers, dancers and comedy acts.
Anyone who would like to perform
should contact Don Scrimgeour at
Scrimgeour's Food Market 523-4551
or Karen Stewart 523-4328 to sched-
ule their presentation.
The evening will be fun for the
entire family, beginning at 7:30 p.m.,
Saturday, Dec. 22 at Blyth Memorial
Hall. Following the performance
adults are invited to continue the
party at the Yule Yodel at the Hotel.
