Obituaries
JOSEPHINE DEITNER
Josephine (Weber) Deitner passed
away peacefully at Freeport Health
Centre of the Grand River Hospital,
Kitchener, on Wednesday, Oct. 17,
2001 in her 87th year. Mrs. Deitner
was a long-time resident of Grey
Twp. and the Village of Brussels.
Born in Carrick Twp. on March
18, 1915, Josephine was the daugh-
ter of the late Joseph and Matilda
Weber and the beloved wife of the
late Charles Deitner.
Josephine will be sadly missed by
her children Pat' Orlowski of Prince
Edward Island, Marjorie Bolger and
her husband Stan of Cambridge,
Ray Deitner and his wife Pat and
Ken Deitner all of Waterloo,
Marlene Henhoeffer and her hus-
band Bill, Ruth Gmach and her hus-
band Karl and Rosie Trznadel and
her husband Jim all of Kitchener,
Don Deitner and his wife Joan of
RR1, Ethel, Ron Deitner and his
wife Mary of Petersburg and Betty
Nafziger and her husband Ray of
Guelph. She was the cherished
grandmother of 38 grandchildren
and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs.
The Huron Perth Hospital
Partnership was formed over two
years ago. A committee of the Huron
Perth Hospital Partnership has rec-
ommended that it is time to take
another look at the Partnership
Agreement.
This review will look at the way
the partnership is governed and
advise partners if there are any
changes that could be made to
improve the delivery of health care
in our communities.
Deitner was also loved by her broth-
er Charles Weber of Walkerton, and
sisters Rose Stojanov of Hanover
and Rita Schill of Formosa.
She was predeceased by her par-
ents Joseph Weber and Matilda
Buckel, brothers Leo, Joseph, and
Francis and her sister Clara Hehn.
Friends were received by the fam-
ily from 7 - 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 -
4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at the
Schimanski Family Funeral Home,
401 Albert St., Brussels. A prayer
service was held Sunday at 4 p.m.
and the rosary was said, by the
Knights of Columbus, Sunday at
8:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral mass was celebrated
by her grandson Father Ed
Henhoeffer, from St. Ambrose
Roman Catholic Church, 17 Flora
St., Brussels, on Monday, Oct. 22 at
11 a.m.
Acting as pallbearers were grand-
children Ted Orlowski, Gerome
Bolger, Dan Deitner, Dave
Henhoeffer, Chris Gmach, Graham
Deitrer, Kristen Nafziger and Jaimie
Trznadel.

months. The comments and sugges-
tions that physicians and communi-
ties provided during that process
were valuable, needed and listened

KENNETH LESLIE RHYNARD
Kenneth Leslie Rhynard of
Huronview passed away at his resi-
dence on Monday, Oct. 22, 2001 in
his 73rd year. •
Mr. Rhynard was born in
Centrelea, Nova Scotia on Sept. 26,
1929. He was the husband of
Dorothy Rhynard and dear father of
Ron Langille and Nancy of
Seaforth, Dianne and Brian Mason
of Blyth, Evelyn and Jerry Cook of
Blyth, Bill and Kathy Rhynard of
Seaforth, Bob and Sue Rhynard of
Clinton. He was also loved by 14
grandchildren and was the dear
brother of Louis, John and Raymond
Rhynard.
Mr. Rhynard was predeceased by
a son Kevin and a brother Doug.
Funeral service was held at the
Beattie-Falconer Funeral Homes
Ltd., 153 High St., Clinton on

EDITH MAE BADLEY
Edith Mae Badley of Blyth passed
away in Clinton on Friday, Oct. 26,
2001 in her 92nd year.
Mrs. Badley was born in England
on April 13, 1910. She is the
beloved wife of the late Harold
Badley (1978) and loving mother of
Shirley Fyfe and husband Earl of
Blyth, Richard and his wife Cathy
of Blyth, Joyce Scheerer and hus-
band Walter of Guelph and Jean
Merz and husband Elmer of
Germany. She will also be sadly
missed by her 14 grandchildren and
18 great-grandchildren. Mae will be
remembered by her nephew Don
Mead and his wife Marg of Guelph.
She was predeceased by her broth-
er Thomas Mead.
Friends were received at the Blyth
Visitation Centre, 407 Queen St.,
Blyth on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 -
9 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion
Br. #420, Ladies Auxiliary held a
memorial service on Sunday
evening at 7 p.m. Funeral service.

and Reg Badley.
Interment was in Blyth Cemetery.

would be appreciated as expressions
