Qualifications
Nursing certificate and registrations with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assessment Skills course for Reg. N.'s and R.P.N.'s Level I and 2 or
equivalent
Leadership and geriatric experience an asset
Duties
- To provide holistic health care while working as a member of the
multidisciplinary team, administering medications and treatments.
To provide leadership and supervision to members of the health care team.
(Casual) Registered Practical Nurses
Qualifications
- Registered Practical Nurse Certificate and registered with the College of
Nurses of Ontario.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duties
- To provide holistic health care to residents while working in a
multidisciplinary team, under the direction of the Registered Nurse, to

- Health Care Aide or Personal Support Worker Certificate.
- Good communication skills. Previous experience with the elderly an asset.
Duties
- To provide holistic direct care to elderly residents under the supervision and
direction of the registered staff.
(Casual) Foodservice Aides and Student Aides
Qualifications
- Current safe food handling certificate.
- Experience in institutional foodservice setting an asset.
- Previous experience with the elderly an asset.
Duties
- To assist in the preparation and distribution of meals.
- To perform general kitchen and cleaning duties in the foodservice area.
(Casual) Cooks
Qualifications
- Branch 1 Cooks Certification.
- Certificate from recognized cooking course. Current safe food handling
course.
- Experience in institutional cooking. Previous experience with the elderly
an asset.
Duties
- To prepare and serve meals for residents, staff, visitors.
- To perform general kitchen and cleaning duties in the foodservice area.
(Casual) Domestic Aides - Housekeeping and Laundry
Qualifications
- Institutional Housekeeping/Laundry Linen Certificate an asset.
- Experienceft Institutional housekeeping/laundry setting an asset.
- Previous experience with the elderly an asset.
Duties
- To operate institutional housekeeping and laundry equipment
- To perform carpeUfloor and general cleaning in building
- To sort, clean and deliver resident personal laundry and linen.

ROADS FOREPERSON WARD 1
Full time 40 hoUrs per week
Employment to commence immediately
Duties to include: providing on the job, day to day leadership
and guidance to the Ward 1 Road crew. To provide a variety of
construction duties, snow/ice removal, roads maintenance for the
safety and convenience of the public.
Required Knowledge, abilities and skills:
- Applicants must have a minimum of five years work experience
in municipal road maintenance, road construction methods and
procedures and operation and maintenance of municipal owned
equipment. Holder of a Class "A" or "D" Ontario driver's licence
with air brake endorsement. Good communication and
leadership skills are an asset.
