B. Archambault welcomes WI to fall meeting

On Sept. 24 just before midnight
Huron- OPP were called to a two-
vehicle crash at the intersection of
Hwy. 21 and County Rd. 25 in
Colborne Twp.
A 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass had
been westbound when it failed to
stop at the corner. The vehicle
entered the intersection and struck
the side of a 1998 Kenworth tractor-
trailer unit that was southbound. The
car became wedged in the dual
wheels and caught fire.
Five officers, who arrived within
five minutes of the accident attempt-
ed to stop the fire using extinguish-
ers, but couldn't put out the blaze.
The officers attempted to remove the
driver whose leg was partially stuck
under the seat.
The man was pulled out of the
vehicle on the passenger side and
