The Central Huron council had a
length discussion of its donation pol-
icy at its regular meeting on Aug. 13.
Concern was expressed that if coun-
cil approved a potential contribution
of $20,000 over and above the
approved levy of $21,000 for Blyth
arena capital improvements then an
equal payment would have to be
considered for the Mind and Body
Centre in Goderich.
Help wanted
In the same connection the
Goderich Twp. recreation committee
fundraising dance was discussed. It
was felt that if municipal funds were
to be used for the event then volun-
teers from all wards should be recog-
nized. Several suggestions were
made to resolve the situation and
Deputy-Reeve Bert Dykstra was
asked to go back to the committee to
see how they wished to proceed.

this and agreed that the invitation be
open to all Central Huron business-
es.
