versary. Thank you for the many
cards and good wishes, the.gifts we
received and the donations of food.
Thank you also to our ;'amity for
arranging such a wonderful day.
Thank you,,Bruce for barbecuing

ENGEL. We would like to express
our sincere thanks to everyone for
their kind expressions of sympathy
and support following Monty's

MAIR. The family of the late Jim
Mair would like to express their
heartfelt appreciation to the
community and people of Brussels
for the many displays of sympathy
shown to us at this difficult time.
Many thanks to Dr. Bokhout and
the staff of Huronlea for their care
and compassion during his short
stay, but especially his final hours.
Special thanks to Rev. Cathrine
Campbell for being with us when
Dad left us, and for her meaningful
and profound delivery of a beautiful
funeral service. Our appreciation
•also to Frank and Jenni Schimanski
for their professional and gentle
handling of all arrangements. Thank
you to the community for their gener-
ous contributions of cards, flowers,
food and memorial donations made
in Dad's memory. There are two
wonderful groups of caregivers
who deserve words of praise, and
who,' without their support, Dad's
last few years would have been
lonely and challenged. Our sincere
thanks to the gals of Town and
Country Support Services. Every-
one of you touched Dad's heart in
special ways: your ability to bring a
smile and share companionship
were the "little things" that meant
so much. He always told us you
were his "Angels" and knew he
couldn't have managed without
you. And to the nurses of
Community Nursing Services, your
visits with your careful assessment
and gentle touch brought much
reassurance and comfort to Dad. A
special thank you to Joanne King,
Margaret, Peg and Mary for your
gift of music and song. We all
knew how much music meant to
Dad and your selections couldn't
have been more appropriate. It was
also an honour for our family to
have Mariann Bone pipe Dad to his
final resting place. Thank you to
the tenants of Highland Apartments,
along with the girls from Town and
Country and a few neighbours" for
the beautiful and delicious dinner
served to us on Friday evening. Also,
our appreciation to the Ladies of
Melville Guild for the comforting
provision of food after the service.
We know that "home is where the
heart "is"; Dad's heart always
belonged there, and ours will too.
We will never forget the generosi-
ties and gifts of love and friendship
extended to him and to us by this
community, especially his care-
givers, neighbours and friends. —
Sincerely. Norma. Linda. Joan and
families. 37- I
