HE council gives orders for dust control By Mark Nonkes Citizen staff Public works director John Forrest came under fire at the Aug. 14 coun- cil meeting from several Huron East councillors from the northern regions of the municipality for the vast amount of dust on the road that leads to the motocross. With thousands of people using the road for the motocross more cal- cium and keeping it watered wouldbe needed, Councillor Alvin McLellan said. "It's going to. be busier than the 401," Councillor Joe Seili said. The amount of dust from traf- tic would not be a pretty picture for campers at the motocross, Coeincillor Larry McGrath said. "If you're eating breakfast and you get dust in your eggs you might be really ugly," McGrath said. McLellan suggested that a con- tractor from Goderich be sent to water the roads during the early morning on the days of the motocross. Forrest complained that there was a personnel shortage with works employees on vacation this week, and it would be difficult to find peo- ple to drive the equipment. • "We don't need -you to try John. we need it done," McLellan said.
