PAGE 15. Local Scouts return from Jamboree in P.E.I. The Canadian Scouting Jamboree was held from July 7 until July 13 at the Cabot Beach Provincial Park on Malpeque Bay in Prince Edward, Island. Sixteen SCouts and Venturers from the Blyth and Brussels areas attended with their leaders. The Blyth party left by train from Stratford on July 6 and after transfer- - ing to a bus in Moncton they crossed the Confederation-Bridge to arrive in time for the opening ceremonies on Saturday, July 7. Brad Businger, Devon Josling and Brad Hill from Brussels Went with the troop from Exeter and flew out of Hamilton. Along with over 14,000 partici- pants from countries as diverse as England, New Zealand and Hong Kong as well as the U.S. and Canada the group took part in traditional scouting activities as well as several variations. Dory rowing may not be unusual for the east coast Scouts but proved to be a bit of a challenge for some of those not so used to the sea. When asked which activity was his favourite Justin Businger was able to answer without hesitation, "Meeting girls." Other less traditional activities included the building of water bal- loon launchers and a particular favourite called mud mazing. Mud mazing apparently combines a large pool of red P.E.I. mud with
