we doubted ourselves, made sure
we had all we needed to help Mom
and so willingly gave of
themselves; Mark and Greg's co-
workers at Volvo and Dupont for
their understanding support; Jewel
Plunkett, who went to the cottage
as companion, soon became
caregiver and finally became
"nurse" working beside us to keep
Mom comfortable; all who sent
cards, flowers; those who gave so
generously to the charities and
those who attended visitation and
the funeral; McCallum and Palla
for their efficient management of
Mom's funeral, the personal
touches did not go unnoticed; Bill
Cameron, organist, who played
sweet notes once again for us; our
bearers ("Auburn kids and Bogies
kids") who were each very special
to Mom and us; Father Phil
Gandon who soothed our souls,
before and after Mom's death, and
with the eulogy encouraged us to
continue to celebrate in
Thanksgiving for a life we so truly
treasured; Rev. Tom Wilson,
Trinity Blyth, whom we had not
met, and now know why Mom said
he was "really great"; our "own
personal piper", John MacKay,
who created such profound serenity
during the interment and then again
as we raised the flag Saturday
evening at the cottage; Blyth
Trinity ACW for the wonderful
lunch served after the funeral and
for all your visits that Mom looked
forward to. We will miss Mom so
very much, To quote a friend
Sharon, "We on earth have now
lost a few rays of sunshine, but, by
golly, Heaven has just inherited a
fireball!" ... and Mom would have
laughed!
