The program, which averages 90 children yearly is organized by the five Brussels churches. Van Geest it\ Hwy. 4, Blyth 523-9233 Wheelchair accessible • Institute members attend conference Jean Fraser and Leona Armstrong, members 9f the Majestic Women's Institute attended a week-long Associated Country Women of the World Conference in Hamilton. The theme of the conference was Volunteers Make Visions a Reality. They attended sessions to elect officers, adopt resolutions and approve recommendations for our worldwide organization which is affiliated with the Women's INstitute. It was an experience to meet with other women from around the world. The conference which is held every three years attracted 1,250 participants from 41 coun- tries': s The next ACWW Conference will be held in Tasmania in 2004. Margaret Mcfnroy from the Walton Women's Institute took part in the Canadian Mosaic on the Thursday evening. Summer lessons Children enjoyed a treat during their classes at the Zion Mennonite Vacation Bible School in Cranbrook. The ses- sion began Monday morning and runs until July 13.
