Melville
Guild
meets
at cottage
The June meeting of the Melville
Women's Guild was held at Leona
Armstrong's cottage on Tuesday,
June 19 with 12 members present.
The meeting was opened with a
video, Seasons of Worship. Kathleen
Semple gave a reading Come Into
the Garden of God. Mrs. Armstrong
read the topic The Garden followed
by prayer by Mrs. Semple.
For the Garden of Daily Living
was read by Mrs. Armstrong and
Mrs. Semple gave a reading Gardens
are Green, the Colour of Hope.
The members then watched the
rest of the video.
Mrs. Armstrong presided over the
business. The minutes of the May
meeting were read and approved.
The treasurer's report was read. The
roll call was answered by each mem-
ber telling about their garden. The
collection was taken and the fair dis-
play was discussed.
The next meeting will be Sept. 17
with Helen Elliott and Mary Carr in
charge.
