CAN EACH PERFORM ALL OF THE ASSIGNMENTS
LISTED BELOW (ie: The Assignments listed below are
all for 1 job not 3 jobs.)
1. Industrial/Commercial Burner/Boiler Service
Technician for in plant or field work. Candidate
should be qualified as a Gas Technician I and hold
a valid G.1 Certificate (Gas Technician II with
valid G.2 Certificate may be considered for
training) ASME SMAW, FCAW & GMAW tickets
would also be beneficial.
2. In Plant Metal Fabrication/Boilermaker work
producing boiler components using presses, shears,
rolls, lathes, drills, refractory mixers GMAW (Mig)
& SMAW (stick) & FCAW (flux core) welding
machines, and typical electric, air and hand tools.
3. Maintenance, Repair and Installation of Plant
Facilities & Equipment.

Huron County Library requires a
Part-time Branch Assistant
-Clinton Branch Library
to provide direct library service to people in the
Clinton area, including assisting people to find
information, both in reference books and on the
Internet, advising readers on book selection, and
checking materials in and out using the library's
computer system. This position has primary
responSibility for the Children's Department. This is a
part-time position of approximately 20 hours per
week.
Casual Part-time Branch Assistants
to work on an occasional basis at various libraries
across the County.
Qualifications: some post -secondary education
preferred; some library training or experience
preferted', computer skills, especially Windows 95/98
and Internet; excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience.and education in children's services
preferred.
Internet Access Assistants (2)
The Huron Community Access Program requires
students to facilitate access to the Internet in
Auburn, Bluevale, Centralia, Fordwich, and Gorrie.
Each job will last approximately 10 weeks, full-time
during the summer of 2001. Duties will include:
hands-on training for individuals on using the
Internet; preparing local community information to
develop an Internet presence for the community.
The successful applicants will: haTTe demonstrated
computer and Internet skills, including web page
development using HTML, have excellent oral and
written communication skills to explain the use of the
Internet to other people, both individually, and in
groups; be mature and able to work productively both
alone and with others. A driver's licence is required.
You must be between 15 and 30 years of age. The
project is subject to a successful grant
application under the Youth Employment
Initiative program.
