Prizes were awarded to: high lady, Mary Taylor; sec- ond high lady, Jean Deyell; ladies' lone hands, Lois Chamney; low lady, Mae Loutit; high man, John Pollard: second high man, Irlma -Edgar; men's lone hands, Mervyn Schneider; low man, Bob Grasby. The next euchre is Wednesday, June 6 at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome. On Friday, May 25, there were nine tables of shoot in play at 'the community centre. High lady was Lois Chamney; second high lady, Helen Case more; most shoots, Louise Bosnian; low lady, Mary Turnbull; high man, Ed Stewart; second high man, Stuart Chamney: most shoots, Gordon Rosman; low man. Evelyn Christensen. The Belgrave Community Club met June 1 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order with greetings from vice-president George Inglis. 0 Canada was sung. The secretary and treasur- er's repOrt were given. Happy Birthday was sung to the June celebrants. Correspondence was read from the Trillium Foundation announcing an information meeting on June 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the North Huron- Wescast Community Mabel's Moms Mabel's Moms met at their regular time on Wednesday, Brenda McCann of Brampton visited recently with her mother Freda Johnston. The students of East Wawanosh Public School had a successful track and field meet. Top finishers in the Mite Boys division were: Tyler Stevenson, first; Trevor Raynard, second and Jordan Van Camp, third. Mite Girls winners were Emma Brohm, Brittany Appleby and Jenny Anderson. Tyke winners were: Greg Dodds, first: Jordan Smith. Dalton Delisle and Dallas Pennington tied for second and Brandon Chaffe, third. Top girls were: Tammy Complex. Murray Scott, representa- tive of the Belgrave arena board and also a member of North Huron council was present to discuss the status of the local arena. For the pres- ent time the arena board will remain and also have its own bank account. There will be a shoot party on June 9 starting at 2-p.m. The next regular meeting will be September 7 at 1:30 p.m. meet May 30. Margaret Vincent, Kristen McArter and Montina Hussey took the top three spots while Krys Campbell, Adam Malhiot and Trevor McArter finished one-two-three on the boys' side. Amy Cook, Bridget Kellington and Nicole Meier were tops in the Bantam Girls class while Josh Bruton and Kyle Procter tied for first.
