Six tables of euchre were in play
on Wednesday, May 2 in the
Women's Institute Hall.
Winners were: high lady, Irlma
Edgar; second high lady. Mary
McIntosh; lone hands, Helen Gallop:
low lady. Viola Adams; high man,
Stuart Chamney; second high man.
Stuart Musgrove; lone hands, Bob
Grasby; low man. George Inglis.
There will be euchre again on
Wednesday, May 9 at 8 p.m.
The regular meeting of the
Belgrave Evening Unit to Knox
United Church was held at the home
of Loma Cook with 17 members
present.
Loran Cook, the leader, welcomed
everyone and opened 'the meeting
with a Mother's Day Nein.
Norma Moore conducted the wor-
ship service. Members listened to a

The regular meeting of the
Belgrave Community Club met
Friday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. with 28
present.
Donna Shaw played the piano for
the anthem. President Mabel
Wheeler welcomed everyone and
vocal rendition of The Light House
and in The Garden.
Irene Lamont gave the card report.
Sheila Nixon reported on the
Pampered Chef fundraiser, it was a
profitable venture.
The April event was April 30 at
Exeter. Four members attended.
A Musical Pageant, The Promise is
being presented at Forest July 6, 7
The Sparks were divided into two
patrols for ease of movement. The
Ladybug Patrol included Sarah
read an article taken from the Voice,
Call Her Mom.
Shoot parties will be held on May
11, May 25 and June 9. A bus will be
going to the Roxy Theatre in Owen
Sound on June 15 to see Forever
Young.

Mrs. Cook presented the program.
She told about the Mission and
Services Fund and explained what is
done with the money. There are hun-
dreds of homeless people in all
major cities. The Inner City
Ministries are helping.

On Friday evening the Sparks par-
ticipated in lively outdoor games fol-
lowed by a bead craft. Michelle
Young led the indoor campfire ses-
sion where girls sang old favourites
as well as new songs. Saturday's
crafts were painting using marbles
and paper chain insects. Other activ
ities included a nature scavenger
hunt, a hike over the two bridges and
a play in the park. Donna Raynard
helped to keep the nature viewers up
with the rest of the group. The camp
ended in the afternoon with happy
hut tired campers.

Brett Mason of East Wawanosh Public School makes a
tremendous leap for the basket against three East
Wawanosh opponents during a three-on-three basketball
tournament held at the school May 3. The other three East
Wawanosh players are Andrew Procter, left, Levi Cook,
Number 4, and Mark McCracken, Number 13.
