The family of the late Jean Ross would like to express our sincere "Thanks" for the kindness shown after the sudden loss of our Mother, Gram and Great-Gram. The outpouring of words of comfort and offers of assistance were and are greatly appreciated. So many people to thank - To all those who made trips to the house with food; who made donations in Mom's memory; to those who sent flowers; to Adrian Brasher for always being close by; to Officer J. E. Poulter for his caring and compassionate manner while dealing with a difficult situation; to the McGavin and Cardiff families for all their help throughout this time. Thanks too, to Neil and Marie for opening their home to family and friends after the funeral. (And for the Sheep Dip). Special thanks to the neighbours and friends who Mom knew she could count on if she needed anything (that is if she ever asked). We would also like to sincerely thank Steve Hildebrand; Neil McGavin and Rev. Nick Vandermey for their heartfelt eulogies. They each embodied Mom's spirit so eloquently. We would like to express our appreciation to Ruth and Ross at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home for making a trying time easier. Thanks to the ladies at the Legion Branch 156 for providing a lovely luncheon, and to those Legion members who attended the service on Wednesday night. Mom and Dad truly enjoyed their time living in Seaforth, making many, many enduring friendships. We will truly miss Mom's smile and words of encouragement but will remember the lessons she taught us and will , try to live our lives with the same unselfish and joyful outlook as she did.
