PAGE 17. Obituaries ALItIA MCLACHLAN On Thursday, April 12, 2001 at London Health Sciences Centre, Westminster Campus, Alicia Marie McLachlan passed away. She was in her second year. Alicia was the cherished daughter of John and Stephanie McLachlan of Vanastra and dear sister of her unborn sibling. She was the beloved granddaugh- ter of Glen and Sandra McLachlan, Vanastra and Leo and Gail Debus, RR2, St. Pauls and loved great- granddaughter of Robert and Muriel McLachlan, RR3, Kippen and Aubrey and Grace McNichol of Blyth. She was the dear niece of Wayne and Crystal Debus, Stratford, Jessica Debus, St. Pauls, Joan McLachlan, Varna, Jennifer and Stephen Ducharme, Merton, Lori McLachlan and fiancé Eric Kennedy, Vanastra, Robbie McLachlan, Brussels and Katie McLachlan of Vanastra. Alicia will be remembered by first cousins, Jacob and Emily Debus and Stacey Kiss McLachlan. Family received friends at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial was held on Monday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Seaforth. Fr. Dino Salvador officiated. Interment was in Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Memorial donations to Tuckersmith Daycare Nursery, Vanastra would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. HELEN DICKSON MITCHELL Helen Mitchell of Caressant Care, Listowel, and formerly Brussels passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 10, 200L She was in her 80th year. Helen was born on Aug. 30, 1921 in Grey Twp., the beloved daughter of the late Percy and Annie Mitchell. She will be sadly missed by her cousins EmersOn Mitchell and his wife Phyllis of Walton and Mrs. Lillian Beer of Hensall. She was also loved by her many cousins in the west, her family and friends. Helen was predeceased by her sis- ter Luella Mitchell, cousins Jack Mitchell and Frank Mitchell and special aunts Tenie and Lizzie Dickson. Friends were received by the fam- ily from 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, where the service was con- ducted in the chapel on Thursday, April 12 at 2 p.m. with Mrs. Joan Golden of Brussels United Church officiating and Mrs. Grace Jutzi as pianist. Carrying floral tributes were Mandy and Jamie Mitchell. Pallbearers were Gordon Mitchell, Ross Mitchell, Doug Mitchell, Neil Mitchell, Steve Beers and David Beers. Spring interment was in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Brussels United Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
