Sparling closed the door on any
further Goderich advances. Fans
were on the edge of their seats as the
fast pace continued and Blyth active-
ly challenged Goderich. Although
defensive play by Matt Popp,
Chalmers, John LeComte, Jeff
Plaetzer and Aaron Popp narrowed
the play and had Blyth outshooting
their opponents, they couldn't sink
the puck.
Unfortunately time ran out and
Blyth had to settle for second place.
Nevertheless no one asked for a
refund after witnessing the impres-
sive game from these boys.
