He currently works with' Mennonite Central Committee in Bangladesh in their food and agriculture program. Alam is in North America for Mennonite Central Committee meetings and will be spending two weeks in Canada visiting Canadian Foodgrains Bank supporters. He will be speaking on the situation in Bangladesh and will be answering the questions of "does the food get there and "what difference does it make". Alam also helped host the 2000 Canadian Foodgrains Bank Food Study tour. -- What: The evening will include slides, overheads, and a question and answer period.
