Priv to Member activates remote system Sparling's Propane recently acti- vated a new tank monitoring system at a propane installation the compa- ny owns at Bluewater Fibre near Tiverton. The system will enable Sparling's to remotely monitor the amount of propane remaining in the tank from any Sparling's office over a secure internet site. Manufactured by LPG Central in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this is the first of these systems to be installed in Canada, and Sparling's will use this first site for a one to two-year test period. During the test period, Sparling's will evaluate the accura- cy of tank readings, the reliability of the information, and determine if seasonal weather or environmental issues affect performance. If the test is successful, Sparling's will install these systems at large- scale commercial, industrial, autoPropane and agricultural instal- lations where historical propane consumption patterns naturally fluc- tuate. Sparling's Propane was estab- lished in 1951, and today, is the sec- ond largest propane company in Ontario with Regional Distribution Facilities in Blyth, Flesherton and Brechin. 401 Pan naparrion www. participaction. corn Anyone who was in the area of Chauncey's Salon, in Blyth, Feb. 16, between the time of 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and may have witnessed a snowball throwing incident is asked to call the Huron OPP or Crimestoppers.
