A challenging opportunity exists for a dynamic individual
to mobilize our community to develop and promote early
child development and parenting programs in Huron
County.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of
community development, early child development and
community services/resjurces. You will possess solid
interpersonal, report/proposal writing, marketing,
computer and presentation skills. Post secondary
education is desirable.
This full time position will end on or before March 31,
2002.

Huron County Health Unit
Requires an
Administrative Assistant
The successful candidate will be working as part of the
Administrative Services Team, providing financial and
computer technology system support for the Huron
County Health Unit. This position provides
administrative services and support to the Acting
Director and Medical Officer of Health. The duties of this
position include processing accounts payable and
accounts receivable, assisting with budget preparation
and monitoring expenditures, providing computer system
support in a computerized office environment, working
with confidential information and providing timely
reports and information to management as requested.
This is a regular full-time non-union position. The hours
of work are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days a week
Monday to Friday.
Qualifications:
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience in
troubleshooting and maintaining a computer network
system in an office environment.
•Working knowledge with computerized accounting and
financial systems.
'Knowledge and proficiency in computer skills - word
processing, spreadsheet, data input.
•Two years of community college or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
•Excellent communication skills and customer service
approach.
*Working knowledge of current employment legislation.
'Strong organizational skills.
