Obituaries MARGUERITE CRAWFORD Marguerite E. (Little) Crawford of Brussels passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001. She was in her 96th year. Born in Morris Twp. on May 31, 1905, Marguerite was the daughter of the late John and Ellen Little and beloved wife of the late Rae Crawford. Marguerite was very active with the Rebekah Lodge, hav- ing been a 50-year member and a Past District Deputy of Huron District No. 23. Marguerite will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Clayton Davidson of Wiarton, the James family and her many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Anne Thynne and Mae James and her brothers William, Frank and Jack Little. Friends were received by the fam- ily on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, where the funeral service was conducted on Friday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Beale officiating. A tribute to Marguerite was given by Mrs. Gertie Kellington. Spring interment will be in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the St. John's Anglican Church, Brussels. A Rebekah service was held under the auspices of Morning Star Rebekah Lodge No. 315 at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. ETHEL PRYCE Ethel Pryce, a former resident of Walton and then Seaforth, passed away peacefully at her home in Prince George, B.C. on Dec. 21, 2000. She was in her 88th year. Ethel is survived by her four chil- dren, Garry (Marjorie) of, Terrace, Linda Campbell of Prince George, Elaine (Jim) Horsford of Sardis and Paul (Shaune) of Garibaldi Highlands; her brother, James Blairmore (Jean) Shaw of Corunna; 11 grandchildren, Darren, Dan, Dale, Bill, Don, Lee, Robert, Scott, Tom, Christie, Jason and one great-grand- son, Devon. Also surviving are her nephews Don and Rick and niece Michelle. Ethel was predeceased by her par- ents James and Pearl Shaw and by her husband Glen. Cremation took place in Prince George and interment was at Oceanview Cemetery in Burnaby beside Glen. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her and love her. MADELINE VIOLET DOBBYN Madeline Violet Dobbyn (nee Reidy) passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, Ontario on Jan. 18, 2001 after a The appearance of counterfeit bills has escalated in Huron and Perth Counties. She was the loving grandmother of John and Michael Dobbyn of Woodstock, 'Matthew and Christopher Lambert of Vancouver, B.C. and Michelle and Mark Dobbyn of London. Madeline will also be deeply missed by her brothers Donald (Thelma) Reidy and Patrick Reidy, her sisters Jean Dicker, Violet (Brian) Hawkes, Margaret (James) Ryan and her many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dobbyn was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Jean Reidy, brothers John, Joseph, Kenneth and William Reidy, her father-in-law, mother-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
