Thanks to Dr. Hanlon and the nurses of Wingham hospital. Sincere thanks to Rev. Campbell for her comforting words and to the pallbearers and flower bearers, also to the ladies of Melville Presbyterian Church for the delicious lunch served after the funeral. Thanks for the food brought to the house and thanks to the neighbours who prepared supper for us on Tuesday. Thelma was blessed with caring neighbours and friends. All this is greatly appreciated. 50-1p DE JONG. Thanks to all who came to the open house on Dec. 6 for our 25th anniversary. It was great to see everyone and we appreciate the cards, gifts and well wishes. A special thanks to our daughter Julia Vincent for surprising us with it, and Kern, Eleanor, Mom Cook and Lia for helping as well. Thanks also to the 8th Liners Ball Team for the delicious surprise dinner, party and gift. A big thanks to Pete's family for the gift and his sister and brother-in-law Mary and John Vernooy for the dinner and get- together. We were only home for one short week, but we got to see so many family and friends. We are truly blessed with many good friends in Ontario and have also been fortunate to find new friends, especially Keith and Joyce VanCamp and family who have helped us in so many ways since moving to Alberta. We are very much enjoying our new venture but miss and think of you all often.
