Cheerios meet The December meeting of the Cheerio Club was held on Wednesday, Dec. 16 beginning with a Christmas dinner at Thom's Place in Londesboro. Edythe gave the treasurer's report. Audrey Thompson had a reading, "Snow for Christmas." Edythe gave a reading which was followed by the Christmas gift exchange. Cards were played. Reta and Pierrette demonstrated crafts. Marjorie Anderson read a poem written by Beth Knox. Reta gave the minutes of the November meeting. A donation will be given to the Clinton Hospital fund and Seaforth Hospital. A card from Renee Snell was read. Cards were sent to Renee Snell and Betty Hulley. Homemade treats were packed for the shut-ins. Pen founds greet Ushers at Londesboro United Church on Sunday, Dec. 20 were Elgin and Dennis Penfound. The sermon topic was "Loving Others". Roll call was answered by a donation for the food bank. There was a Christmas gift exchange.
