Under the provisions of Township By-law 1973-21 snow is not to be pushed or blown onto the travelled portion of Township roads. Jim Johnston Road Superintendent Township of Hullett aph About Your Hospital During his December visit to Clinton Dr. Fabian Gorodzinsky spoke to a group of staff and physicians about his recent mission to Honduras to help victims of Hurricane Mitch. Following his talk Ruth Hamilton, President of the CPH Staff Association presented Dr. Gorodzinsky with a donation to the Walter Lizandro Cruz Fund. One of the many emotional tugs that Dr. Gorodzinsky experienced during his recent mission to Honduras was a plea for help from Walter Lizandro Cruz' mother. The 2 year old was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a life threatening congenital heart defect that inhibits the pumping value of the heart. The surgery to correct this problem is readily performed in Canada but Is unavailable to this child in his country. Since returning to London Dr. Gorodzinsky has been able to gain support from London Health Science Centre, John Lee, a cardiac surgeon as well as others in the community that are willing to provide food and lodging. As soon as the remaining $20,000 can be raised through donations Walter will be brought to Canada. Dr. Gorodzinsky is hopeful these funds can be raised in time save Walter's life. Dr. Gorodzinsky is well known to Clinton and area communities. He travels to Clinton every month to see children that require the special services of a pediatrician. During these visits he also conducts Lunch & Learn sessions for staff and physicians about relevant pediatric conditions. We have benefited greatly from Dr. Gorodzinsky's services over the past 16 years and it would seem fitting to add our support to the doctor's desire to make a difference in this child's life. Readers wishing to donate to this project can do so by sending their donation to: The Walter Lizandro Cruz Fund, Dr. Fabian Gorodzinsky, 610 Colborne St., London, ON N6B 2V2. .#., Sincere Best Wishes for a * -4,- Happy, Healthy Holiday 4K- 9°Elk Public Hospital **A ****** from the Staff, Physicians, Auxiliary, Board of Directors & Foundation of Clinton As 1998 draws to a close we wish to thank the members of the communities that so generously give to CPH through donations, volunteer work & visits.
