Students write
festive stories

Miss Robinson's Grade 7 class at
Grey has been busy this month
with writing Christmas stories for
the primary grades. They've been
working on independent novel
studies in language.
In math they have started an
introduction to geometry. For
science they are into the eco
systems.
On December first Miss
Robinson's class attended the new
Tech 21 at Listowel District
Secondary School.
This week we have started
intramural volleyball. The Grade 7
and 8 classes are participating in
this event.
Recently students got their report
cards sent home.
The school made $2,100 in their
world book readathon. Over 125
students read over 10 books each
and received a gold medal.
The Primary and Junior choirs
are busy preparing for the

Job well done
Students from kindergarten to Grade 7 at Grey Central Public School were honoured on
Thursday morning at an assembly. The Early Years to Grade 3 group (top photo) and the
Grades 4-7 classes raised over $2,000 during the World Book Read-a-thon. Students were
required to read 10 books or more and money was raised through sponsors. Each child
received a medal and certificate.
