Lynn McDonald of the VON told county council, Nov. 26, that the agency had submitted a bid to the new Community Care Access Cen- tre to continue to provide the ser- vice but had lost its contract in favour of St. Elizabeth Health Care Corporation of Toronto, another non-profit company. Still, McDon- ald said, the VON will continue to provide other services in the county for private clients including a new "parish nursing" project for a Goderich church.
