Bantam Bulldogs show their winning ways
The Blyth Bantam Bulldogs met
the Brussels Bantams on Nov. 9 on
their own home turf and battled to a
final score in the Dogs' favour.
Craig Marks scored an unassisted
goal in the first to notch goal
number one. Brussels answered the
call in the second.
Less than two minutes later,

Nov, 21, defeating them 4-2.
Seaforth jumped off to an early
lead in the first, while Blyth could-
n't get on the scoreboard.
It was turnaround time in the sec-
ond, however, as Brittany Peters
and Kendall Whitfield put the
home squad ahead by one. Assist-
ing on the Peters goal were Whit-
field and Byron Broome.
The Seaforth team tied it up at
the 13:07 mark of the third period.
It was fleeting glory, however, as
less than two minutes later Peters
put her team back in front with
assits from Derek Youngblut and
Whitfield. Then with just minutes
remaining, Youngblut swooped in
to provide his team with some
insurance on the way to victory.
