Walkerton team last week. Among the secondary school's players for this season are
several local youths: Tyler Stewart of Blyth, Marc Fischer of Brussels, Curtis Knight and
Pete Irwin of Belgrave and Craig Marks and Rob McGee of Eat Wawanosh Twp. Blyth's

the numbers are in and the 1998
season for Brussels soccer was a
great success. A total of 251
children played in the North-Perth
League and 53 adults (over age)
played in the Huron League. There
were 101 from Grey Twp., 64 from
Morris, 73 from Brussels and 13
from elsewhere.
This success means more fields
are needed, thus a large second
field is underway. There is also a
possibility of lights, but details still
need to be worked out. This would
be great for our older tells and
practice times, as in August the
days become shorter.
Presently the only days soccer
isn't played were Friday and
Saturday. With the addition of a
new field, the club can continue to
offer soccer to all ages.
