2 men
rescue
actress
Huron County OPP are com-
mending two Clinton men who
helped save a Blyth Festival actress
from serious injury in an accident
west of Londesboro Aug. 8.
McKenzie Muldoon, 22, was
heading west on County Rd. 15.
After stopping at the corner of
Huron County Rd. 8, she pulled
into the path of a southbound van
driven by Douglas Ca:neron, 46, of
Clinton. The Cameron vehicle
struck the Muldoon car broadside,
driving it into the ditch.
Cameron and his passenger went
to Muldoon's car and found her
unconscious. They saw a fire had
started under the hood and acted
quickly, finding a knife in their van
and cutting her seat belt and remov-
ing her from the vehicle. The car
then burned. Clinton Fire Depart-
ment responded to the call.
Muldoon was treated at Clinton
Public Hospital then transported to
London where she was held
overnight for observation before
being released.
She has been charged with a traf-
fic violation.
