A special thanks to Kay Mailloux and Amy Fotheringham for their help and support. 31-1 McCOOL. The family of the late Berthena "Tinker" McCool (Cruickshank) would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who helped in any way during our recent loss of a very beloved wife and mother. As many may know, Mom was never an outgoing person, so to say the least we were surprised but very touched by the numerous acts of kindness shown throughout the last two weeks. First of all we would like to thank the Canadian Cancer Society for all you did for Mom. You made her cancer a little bit more bearable (if that was possible), by all the things you were able to provide for her. She really did need it and appreciate it. And thank you to everyone who made donations to the Cancer Society, it truly goes to a worthwhile cause in aiding the victims of cancer. Thank you to the so many people who sent beautiful flower tributes, it's nice we have some to keep to remember Mom by. We would also like to say thank you to J & J Pharmacy for all you've ever done for Mom. To Horizon Pro Health and the girls for the oxygen you provided Mom with and being so good to her, and to Community Care for trying to keep us on track with all her pills. A very special thank you first of all to Dr. Bokhout, Kim Kruize and all the staff at C.P.H. for all you've ever done for Mom, even before her cancer, especially for her routine midnight admittances. Your patience, kindness and under- standing will always be appreciated. Most of all, thank you, for your honesty. By giving our family that, you let us get prepared for the rough road ahead, and allowed time for unspoken words to be said to her. Secondly, to Town and Country Support Services and Lynda McAdam (Van Soest) — it may have been your job, but you went beyond that and gave her happiness and a friend to talk to. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you to Reverend Sinnicks from Bayfield for the lovely service you allowed us to have for Mom. It was "perfect". She would have been impressed. Also thanks to everyone who brought food over to our farm, called, visited or just leant a shoulder to cry on. For the numerous sympathy cards we have received; it is nice to see so many people care. And to Nancy and Neil Stapleton and family for all you've ever done for our family. If we have forgotten anyone, please forgive us and consider yourself thanked. It seems so q0et and boring without having Mom here. I guess we took her a bit for granted and thought she'd never leave us. But as she said "it's not much fun dying, but everyone has to die sometime and my time is up, it's someone else's turn to live." She is okay now and finally out of pain. Thank you God for giving us to her as long as you did. You couldn't have made a more perfect choice. — Anjela, Rob and Robert McCool. 31-1 C COMING EVENTS VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Ethel.
