Brussels Livestock report Beef veal sells on steady market to $139 high The sales at Brussels Livestock for the week ending July 31 were: fed cattle, 601; cows, 245; veal and bob calves, 424; lambs and goats, 353; and stockers, 455. Fed steers and heifers sold $1 higher. Cows sold on a steady mar- ket. Veal sold on a steady market. Choice lambs sold steady with the medium and heavy lambs selling under pressure. All classes of stockers sold on a steady demand. There were 394 steers on offer selling from $87 to $90 to the high of $98. Thirty-eight steers con- signed by Cunningham Farms, Lucan, averaging 1,331 lbs. sold for an average of $89.77 with a limousin steer weighing 1,360 lbs. selling to Norwich Packers for $96.75.
