Happy Gang meets The June meeting of Happy Gang Seniors was held at the hall on Wednesday, June 24. Ken and Shannon Scott played and sang several pieces. The minutes of the May meeting were read. Reta gave the treasurer's report. A thank you was read from Keith Allen for the group's donation. - There is a card party July 10. Reta gave two readings. Edythe had a skit on "Grandma's Apron". The next meeting is the last Wednesday in September. On behalf of the group Lila Procter presented Mabel with a bouquet of' cut flowers and a gift certificate. Those who attended were: Lila Procter and Jessica; Mary Jane Hobden and Stephen; Linda Hess and Judith; Karen Rundle and Holly; Kim Higgins, Laura, Jarrod and Ashley; Melanie Pletch, Ben and Amelia. All enjoyed a potluck luncheon on the deck. 4-H collects batteries Huron County 4-H Leaders' Association and 4-H members are again collecting spent lead acid batteries. This is the fifth year for the fundraising project during June and July. Money raised is used to help fund 4-H in Huron County.
