umerous chances to see the
eautiful city.
Our first stop on our trip was
anshawe Pioneer Village where
,e enjoyed the old life of the late
9th century. The village that day

pened just for us. Some activities
tat we enjoyed were learning how
make butter and soap at the
Eller household, and another was

discovered how strict the rules
were in the pioneer days.
At the log cabin we were told
how to fill a small cabin with light,
and a visit to The Free Press
building where we learned the jobs
of certain employees and the
knowledge required to perform
them.
After a perfect lunch we enjoyed
an organized scavenger hunt.
During this activity we searched for
everything in the village from how
many bells were in the village to
the variety of herbs growing in a
pioneer garden. When this was
concluded we loaded back on the
bus and headed off to the Imax
Theatre at the Western Fairground.
