Leah welcomed Mrs. Jacobs. She
brought along a display of items
created from recycled materials,
beads, lace, buttons and a variety of
other items. She told about the
kinds of items brought into the 5Rs
Thrift Store and how they are used.
She also spoke of the volunteers
who are an integral part of the
success of the 5Rs.
On May 14 Marguerite Thomas,
public health nurse will .be guest.
Her topic will be Cancer
Prevention and Sun Safety.

The beautiful hymn Amazing
Grace was sung. Rev. Di Nova's
sermon was "Reconvert and Beat
Stress, one easy step." She spoke
about everyone having stress and
worries. When things trouble one
they must learn to place it in God's
hand, relax and the outcome will be
satisfactory. Put faith in God and
follow His way.
Organ postlude with Bernice
Gross, organist led the
congregation from church.
Clerk-Treasurer John Stewart
advised council that the estimated
cost of policing for 1998 would be
$97,686.

April 17, to view the landfill site.
