The opening chorus was sung,
followed by responsive worship
invitation from Psalm 118 — God
may test one but He never forgets a
person.
The children were invited to the
front and out of the mystery bag a
cross was drawn. Rev. Ross then
gave one to each child. He spoke to
them about people that they
honoured. Then he told them that
they must always honour God.
After prayer the children went to
their classrooms and the children's
chorus was sung.
Scripture was given from Isaiah
50. In this he listened to what God
said and gave him help in his trials.
Then from Luke 19 was his
translation of Palm Sunday. Two of
Christ's disciples were sent to get a
colt. They brought it back and
Jesus sat on it. As it moved He was
praised highly.
Rev. Ross' sermon was "Making
up Our Minds". As people go
through life they come upon trials
and tribulations. However, by
praying and doing what they
consider best it is hoped that God
helps make the correct decision.
The communion service was
held. The elders serving were Tina
Empey, Gregory Park, Gordon
Gross and Larry Plaetzer.
