Woodville tied the game a minute later, but Arthur restored the lead on passes from Tyler Stewart and Craig Marks. Again Woodville tied the game early in the second period. With four minutes remaining in the second frame, Stewart took a pass from Nathan Shannon at centre ice and skating in, beat the Woodville goaltender to put Blyth up again. Blyth started the third period with a powerplay and needed only 22 seconds to go ahead 4-2. Derek Cook outskated the Woodville defencemen to the puck and sent a perfect pas, to M. Anderson who made no mistake burying the shot. Blyth's defensive game held up to clinch the victory. Wilson was again superb in the Blyth net.
