A new-found hobby is your

Now is a good time to reminisce
and maybe get a few skeletons out
of your closet.
LIBRA
By Ashley Gropp
March 5, 1998, east coast band
Great Big Sea performed a sold out
concert at The Lyric in Kitchener.
The all-ages show had a
predominately high school/
university aged audience, although
there were people there from age
five to 50.
The opening band Rusty Nails, is
a Toronto band, who had just
played live on television the night
before. They had a punk-like sound
with the distinction of having two
saxophone players. They put on a
high-energy show that unfortu-
nately lasted only about half an
hour.
When they left the stage, the wait
for Great Big Sea began. The wait
ended up being longer than the
opening band's performance. The
40 minutes between Rusty Nails
and the headliners dragged by
slowly. Finally, Great Big Sea took
the stage.
Immediately, the floor became
extremely crowded, and really
warm. A look up and you could see
that the rest of the club was almost
as full. The energy level picked
right back up as well.
The second song they played was
their hit single Ordinary Day.
(Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
Loved ones may be experiencing
changes right now. Be patient and
understanding and be ready with
your wise advice.
It is a good time to party.
SCORPIO

having you around. Take some time
out of your busy life to show them
you still care.
A pleasant. surprise is in your
future.
SAGITTARIUS
(Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Your love-life may seem to be a
disaster, but it will get better
someday. Don't force it.
A big project needs your
dedication and co-operation.
CAPRICORN
(Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
Re-establish a correspondence
you may have forgotten about.
Your future is bright, so don't let
a few tiny failures discourage you.
AQUARIUS
(Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
You've got the right idea. Your
life is yours to live and you are
living it to the fullest.
All the hard work you are putting
into a project right now will pay off
later.
PISCES
(Feb. 19 - March 20)
Happy Birthday all you Pisces!
Now is when you find out how
loved you are. Take time to return
the love, and show your
appreciation.
The following set included
material from all three of their
albums. They played all of their
other hits including Mari-Mac,
their cover of REM's It's the End of
the World As We Know It.
After an excellent performance,
they left the stage. The audience
called them back for an encore.
They played three songs and left
again.
The audience refused to give up
and called them back for another
three songs.
DEAR JANN:
You were my favourite part of
the Teen Page but it has been over
half a year since you last published
anything. The Teen Page isn't the
same without you. Where have you
gone and please come back.
Missing you in Morris Twp.
DEAR MISSING:
Sorry readers. My school work
has been very chaotic over the past
semester. I am back to light up "For
Teens, By Teens" and I will be
answering letters sent in from last
summer for the time being. Send
me problems or concerns to Jann

DEAR JANN:
One night I had "Lindsay" over
and my parents weren't home. I let
Lindsay drive our family car to
pick up some movies at the store,
two minutes away. I didn't go with
Lindsay because she assured me
everything would be fine.
A few days later, when my Mom
and I were washing the car we
Writers wanted
The Citizen is looking for young
aspiring writers interested in work-
ing with our Teen Page crew.
What has grown to become a
popular bi-weekly feature is look-
ing for greater input from a broader
base. The idea is to publish topical,
youth-oriented material, selected
by and written by teens. While the
material is intended to attract
young readers it has also proven to
be a communication link with adult
readers interested in hearing more
about what interests today's minds.
You don't need to be Heming-
way. Anyone interested in pursuing
a career in journalism or other cre-
ative employment would fmd this a
perfect opportunity to hone their
skills, in preparation for the future.
And it looks good on a resume
too!
If interested, we would be
pleased to hear from you. Call
Bonnie at 523-4792 or simply sub-
mit an article for consideration to

noticed a big scratch on the
passenger side door. She asked me
what happened, but I didn't have a
clue. No one else in the family
knew what it was from. I figure it
was when Lindsay was driving, but
I have no proof.
I don't want to mention it to
Lindsay because I have no proof
and I may offend her. I don't plan
on mentioning it to my parents or
they will get me in a lot, of trouble.
What should I do?
What to do in Wawanosh.
DEAR WHAT TO DO:
First of all, you should never,
ever let anyone who isn't insured,
drive one of your vehicles. This can
get you into a lot of trouble with
the law in case of an accident.
Although she assured you she
was a good driver, anything could
have happened. Luckily it was only
a scratch.
Also it is not your right to let
anyone drive your parents' vehicle.
If you wouldn't have done that,
there would not have been a
problem.
Ask your friend about the scratch
but do not accuse her. If she denies
it then don't pursue it anymore.
Although you will get in trouble,
if she does confess, be prepared to
take the blame and the rap. It was
your fault for letting her drive.
