For Teens, By Teens The study woes of a procrastinator Compiled by Amy Crawford Being a person who enjoys horo- scopes and birth information, I have compiled things about the dif- ferent signs of the zodiac that may be of interest to others. CAPRICORN DEC. 22 - JAN. 20 Personality Capricorns rarely give up and have been known to rework materi- als slowly and carefully. Capri- corns all share a belief in fate which gives them the openness and acceptance to understand those around them. Capricorns give the impression they know what they are talking about and if wrong in their decision will often take a lot of convincing from opponents before they will admit they are wrong. Capricorn attractions Taurus, Scorpio, Leo AQUARIUS JAN. 21 - FEB. 19 Personality Aquarians approach life with an open manner and are often stumped at rejection. They are very accept- ing and assume that others will accept them also. When confronted with a conflict they can fly off the handle and attack their opponent with lightning speed or just disap- pear. Aquarians are often attracted to those with a dark side not evi- dent in their own personality. They are attracted to excitement and change, therefore they bore easily. They get the most satisfac- tion from traveling with one or more friends in search of trouble. Geminis like to be part of the group and often liven up a situation. Gemini attractions Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius CANCER JUNE 22 - JULY 22 Personality Cancer people are protective and know how to wait. The crab can be very aggressive in getting what they want but they don't like to demand, they prefer to wait until others understand what they want. Deep emotional friendship is of the upmost importance to them. A leo will defend all that are close to them to the last drop of blood. Leos are very faith- ful. Sagittarius attractions Gemini, Aries, Taurus, Virgo By Ashley Gropp I have just remembered a couple of things this past week. One of them was that I really hate studying for exams. The other thing is that I always seem to leave things I hate until the last minute (especially studying). My first exam was in-class on Monday. Not surprisingly, Saturday afternoon I had not even touched my books yet, despite this fact, I knew I was going away for the whole next day. Finally, Saturday evening I was practically dragged down to the dining room table where I wrote study notes for two of my three exams. (In my opinion, making study notes is probably the reason I don't study much — I despise it). I eventually completed that task. I then worked on memorizing these 'notes. I studied them for an hour before going to bed exhausted. As I was away Sunday, I was unable to study much, then nervous because of lack of preparation, I couldn't get to sleep that night. When I went into the exam, I realized I wasn't going to do as well as I'd hoped. Thinking about it afterwards, I remembered several answers I could have answered better. With everything that I did to prove to myself that I need to start being better prepared for exams before I have to, you Would think that I'll be ready for next semester's exams: I probably won't be. I always say That I'm going to change but every year I put it off until the last minute.
