Madill Secondary School were selected to work with four profes sionals from Stratford Festival as part of the Shakespeare on Wheels program. From the theatre were: Keith Dinicol, an actor, who has directed the program since 1994; Donna Feore, a choreographer and director who is a founding member of the program, John Colm Leberg, who does set design and Paul Shilton, who helped with music. Eight schools in all have taken part in the program. Other than the play the students are the creative force. According to drama teacher Louanna Alexander, “Besides act ing, the kids picked the period, which was the 1960s, composed the music, created the sets. For two days solid they worked on every aspect of this production. It was an incredible process.” On Friday, the finished result was presented to a number of stu dents in two presentations in the drama room. Following each Dini col explained the process and applauded the students’ work. “We think they are wonderful.” Love Mom, Dad & Kids Singers celebrate 20 years ■ ft' ■ H' rr fr i H' fr i i"r fr rfr fr fr rr fT ftr (tr (Tt ff1 iTt11 fr Continued from page 30 Singers this past spring when the choir presented G.abriel Faur^’s Requiem.
