50th wedding anniversary.
Clarence White and Jane Oving
ton were married Nov. 19, 1949 at

el. Rev. Pauli officiated. Tony
Ovington, the bride’s brother and
Fern White, the groom’s sister were
the attendants.
Following a honeymoon trip to
Niagara Falls, the newlyweds
moved to the fifth of Morris Twp.,
where they farmed for 14 years.
Clarence then worked as a labourer
and retired from Ontario Hydro
construction.
Jane was a house, homemaker
and mother to their seven children.
She later sold Avon and when she
retired was housekeeping at Brae-
mar Retirement Centre.
Their family eventually grew to
include 15 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
