Outmatched
It was two against one as the Biyth Novice attempted to get the puck from two Milverton
opponents. The two teams met in league play in Biyth on Nov. 17. Despite a valiant effort
the home squad came up short on this match-up

Milverton nipped the Biyth
Novices in a close game, Nov. 17.
Biyth struck first when Curtis
Robertson got the puck from
Roman Sturzenegger at the blueline
and scored at 9:09 of the first.
Milverton then took control,
evening the tally with just 13 sec
onds left in the second period and
Assault puts woman in hospital
On Nov. 19 at approximately
12:15 p.m. police received a call of
a woman injured at a home on
Cone. 14 in McKillop Twp. near
Dublin.
The call received by OPP
dispatch was .cut off suddenly
during the attack.
Officers arrived to find that a
couple was at home when a brother
to the male owner arrived at the
residence shortly after noon. The
two brothers were not getting along
and they both soon got into an
argument over family issues. The
argument turned into screaming
and yelling and eventually into a
physical confrontation.
The visiting brother started
beating on the other and the
victim's wife jumped in to assist
her husband She then went to call
the police using the phone in the
home. The irate brother then turned
on her pulling the telephone out of
the wall and knocking her to the
floor.
The victim's husband ran to a

the vehicle was stopped in Perth
County in the Village of Rostock
and Larry Kilgour, 52, of
Petersburg was arrested. He was
taken to the Huron OPP
detachment where he has been held
in custody for a bail hearing. He is
charged with assault causing bodily
harm, assault and threatening.
