Good Time Music returns Bad examples Bullying was the topic of a recent workshop sponsored by Shakespeare on Wheels at Brussels Public School. Students from the Grade 6 class learned about bullies and how to deal with them. Gospel entertainer at Hall The Blyth Community Church of God is sponsoring a night of music. On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. singer/songwriter Trevor Baker brings his country gospel melodies to entertain and inspire. The Riceville resident was nomi­ nated in 1998 by the Canadian Gospel Music Association as Male Vocalist of the Year. This year, he appeared at the Canadian Country Music Awards Gospel Showcase as one of six Canadian performers. The Blyth Business Association once again is presenting the popular Good Time Music Hall production. Old Fashioned Christmas at the Blyth Memorial Hall on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m. Bright lights and colourful costumes highlight this fast-paced, variety show featuring Dave Hoy on piano with the Music Hall performers. The production presents contemporary and traditional Christmas music and comedy. Rosemary Crosthwaite, Bayfield, received her Grade 10 Piano certificate and also finished Grade 4 Harmony with honours. Stephanie Bokhout, Blyth, completed Grade 8 Piano and Grade 2 Rudiments with first class honours. Bethany Stuart, Goderich, finished Grade 2 Rudiments with first class honours. Tonya Drost, Hullett, received honours for Grade 4 Piano. Lindsay Gibson, Clinton, Tammy Reinink, Auburn and Michael Roy, Londesboro all completed Grade 2 Piano with first class honours. appeara-nce and lead the audience in a singalong of their favourite Christmas songs. The Good Time Music Hall was started in 1987 by Lynn and Dave Hoy. Regular performances are presented year-round in London, Windsor, Hamilton and Toronto. The show has appeared at the CNE, the Royal York Hotel and at major festivals and fairs across Ontario.
