The scholarships go to stu­ dents from Blyth who are pursuing post-secondary education. April Van Amersfoort earned the general proficiency award for histo­ ry- Capucine Onn earned the District OSSTF Bursary for the student who through their activities has set a high standard for student involve­ ment at CHSS. The Norman Parks Garrett Memorial Scholarships for Blyth students pursuing post-secondary education were given to Christina Black, Jamie Black, Mary Beth Brigham, Lori Carter, Will Fitzger­ ald, Allan Gibbons, Matt Morrison and April Van Amersfoort. The MacTavish Award of Merit, given to students in pursuit of post­ secondary education or training and showing merit through achieve­ ment and other activities went to Christina Black, Jamie Black and Lori Carter. Ontario Scholarships went to Christina Black, Tim Caldwell, Capucine Onn, Erin Roulston and April Van Amersfoort. For the Grade 12 class, Will Fitzgerald earned the Lion’s club Award for contribution to the tech­ nical program; Darrell McDougall received the Radar Auto Parts ltd. Award for auto and theory and In the Grade 11 category, Julie Cowan received the Cargill Limited Award for chemistry. Canada Gr.
