Blyth council briefs Meeting set to discuss hydro Blyth councillors were told at the Oct. 4 meeting that an information meeting for councillors and admin­ istrators will be held at Memorial Hall, Oct. 21. to discuss hydro ser- vices. Reeve Mason Bailey, Councillors Murray Nesbitt, Doug Scrimgeour and Jeff Howson and Clerk-Trea­ surer John Stewart will attend. *** Councillors Lawrie and Scrim­ geour as well as Stewart plan to attend a conference in London con­ cerning Strategies for Success in Labour, Employment and Regula­ tory Law. *** Council agreed that Halloween should remain on the usual date of Sunday, Oct. 31. These youth are eager to assist patients in any way they can.
