HP hospital partnership submits progress report to restructuring commission The Huron Perth Hospitals Partnership (HPHP) submitted an implementation and progress report on Sept. 20 to the Health Services Restructuring Commission (HSRC). The Report responds to the request by the HSRC for all hospitals to update the Commission on progress and plans. The HSRC specifically requested from HPHP. an evaluation of the governance arrangement of the eight hospital partners. HPHP’s report provides an update on the significant progress which the eight hospitals have made together over the past year and details the co-operative governance system and unique management structure that HPHP has initiated. “The Joint Executive Committee Model is new to Networks in Ontario. Despite the inherent challenges of such a model, the rewards have been very positive and we are receiving positive acknowledgement from the Ministry of Health and other partners across Ontario for our leadership and pioneering efforts," said Kerry Blagrave, chair of the Huron Perth Hospitals Partnership Joint Executive Committee The report indicates that the new Partnership allows the quality of health care services available to the people served by Huron Perth hospitals to be maintained - and even improved. “We have a shared clinical planning process with the District Health Council and CCAC’s; we are undertaking co-operative clinical planning and service sharing across the Partnership, and we have developed excellent links with London Health Sciences Centre,” said Bonnie Adamson, president and CEO. In addition to the increased co operation experienced already, Adamson said there is further work and co-operative projects planned for the coming months. “Our new organization can anticipate a positive response and support to carry on.” SPECTACULAR SAVINGS’ BONELESS TOUPIC WHOLE SMOKED HAM CRACKER BARREL CHEDDAR CHEESE If the newspaper you are reading was purchased at a newsstand... we have a deal 77 for you!
