Give me strength for the moment,
lift my heart, touch my soul. Give
me peace and forgiveness, let me
know where I stand. In the circle of
friendship, let us hold each other’s
hand.”
Mrs. Wilbee then introduced the
speaker for the night, Margaret
Engeland from Stratford. She is
currently the vice president of
London Conference. Her topic was
called, “Cup of Life”.
She felt that her challenge that
night was to leave everyone with
some food for thought. She pointed
to some cups on the table and asked
the ladies to picture their lives on a
cup. It can represent a spiritual
thirst.
